Hi Lauren,
Thank you for reaching out and for your patience in our response! We have just returned from our honeymoon and are getting back into the swing of things.
We could not have asked for a better experience for the reception with Deep Velvet. They were incredible, and completely exceeded our expectations. So many people came up to us and asked about the band and who they were, and said they were blown away at how good they were at the reception!
Working with Sam Hill on the Knot was also a breeze. Everything was very easy and straight forward. You guys made it very easy for us to send in our song requests, expectations for the band, etc.
Thanks for all the help in making our reception such a success!

Morris and the team at Deep Velvet were fantastic! They were extremely easy to work with and to contact in the weeks leading up to my event, and Morris was very flexible with our group and our requests/timings. The night of the event our program was slightly delayed but the band was ready to go as soon as we were ready! The set up was amazing, our group had a fantastic time dancing the night away. The band really knows how to read a crowd and were able to change the mood based on what people were reacting to as listeners. I would absolutely recommend Deep Velvet to anyone in the Atlanta area or Georgia in general! Hire this band!

They were amazing! They interacted. They played anything we wanted. The vocalists were great. They announced the bridal party. More people danced than sat. This is an amazing band. Very lively and talented. They were engaging with our wedding guests and even did an impromptu dance contest for us. I honestly wish I had more time to actually talk with all of them. They showed up dressed “to the nines'' which a couple of my guests mentioned they were impressed with. Sooo many mentioned how awesome the band was and that there were such a memorable part of the wedding. I would recommend this band without hesitation to anyone.

Given the acoustics of the location, I particularly appreciated that when requested, they turned the volume down, without turning down the vibe!

I heard about the band through a friend because I was planning a surprise party for my mother. Alan Davis was very nice and professional from the beginning. He went through the contract and explained everything to me. The day of the party he arrived on time. The band was phenomenal and we even danced. They had the itinerary and it work out great. The music was very appropriate for the event. I had family from Miami at the event and they really wanted them to come down for another birthday party. We talked about the band for weeks. I would recommend!
