Another Level was stellar in every capacity. Kevin was a great communicator leading up to the wedding day, and the whole band was awesome the day of. I thought they did an exceptional job with transitioning from sets to speeches/toast/breaks and back, keeping the party going seamlessly. I also thought the setlist was awesome, with a great balance of energy and genres. I'm still unclear how it came about, but a friend of mine in a band was invited to step in and play a song with the band, which was an awesome surprise for everyone. The whole night was amazing and the dance floor was full. I'm already recommending the band to friends with upcoming weddings, so hopefully I'll see them all again soon.

Another Level was great. Their sound was great; interaction was great; attitude was great. In fact, many folks asked about them and I gave them, and Sam Hills Bands high praise.

We’re so glad that you asked about the band! We had a perfect weather day, a perfect ceremony, and a perfect reception (many thanks to our “perfect” wedding planner Kate Phillips), and of course we had tons of positive comments about Another Level. They were simply terrific!
To be more specific:
they played music for all the generations!
they played requested songs, too
they involved the crowd and even had a couple guests from the crowd on stage, including of course the newly married couple
they played new popular songs really well, too (Bruno Mars, etc.)
and the BEST compliment of all: the dance floor stayed packed, and we do mean absolutely PACKED, all the way until the end of the reception.
In summary, we felt like Another Level delivered, AND THEN SOME. We would highly recommend this band to anyone. They were happy, energetic, and complete professionals, including their sound man John.

Wanted to share my very positive feedback on Another Level before I get back into my postMotheroftheBride life and will encourage Mary Cate and David later this month.
Another Level was excellent to work with, very professional, and very responsive to our requests for the play list and more. CCV definitely is experienced with them and the arrangements were easy to accommodate. The band also contacted Mary Cate a few days before again to see if there were any changes. Another Level definitely read our reception crowd and got everyone (all ages) dancing. The play time, breaks, and selections were ideal. We had also asked for a New Orleanslike send off for the new couple led by the saxaphonist drawing the dancing crowd outside was a perfect ending to an evening that went so fast.
The vocal quality and musicianship was great. Could listen to their cover of Etta James all night. And would definitely recommend them to others for future events. Please pass my appreciation on to the band!

Another Level was the perfect band for my daughter's reception. She said the one thing she wanted to be sure of with her wedding was to have a great band, and Another Level was that and more! They are so nice and easy to work with (Shayne, the female singer is the contact person, and she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet). When we got to the reception, the band was already playing, and then Shayne came over to make sure she had the pronunciations correct for the introductions, and just managed the whole reception flawlessly, knowing when to break, how to announce the cake cutting, toasts, and the bouquet toss. The rest of the band members are all gentlemen, and such fun to talk to. They will take requests, and even allowed my brother to play drums on a song with them! Finally, the best part was their talent, as they played a nice variety of songs, that fit everyone's tastes, and played them as well as the original artists! ! I told them their audio/video on their website is excellent, but they are even better in person!! I had so many people, young and old, ask me where did you find that amazing band! To any of you out there trying to decide on a band that is easy to work with, plays incredibly well, and will get people dancing, this is the one!

Kevin and the Another Level band were absolutely fantastic for our daughter's wedding reception. They were ready to go, looking sharp and playing great music as our 219 guests arrived. As this was predinner music, they were instantly accommodating to the meal and pulled back the sound a little bit before dinner. The band learned a new song to start the night for my daughter and her husband's first dance. After an iPod number for the groom to dance with his mom, they launched into Old Time Rock and Roll for me to dance with the bride. From that point forward, the dance floor was packed for the next 2.5 hours, except for a short break during the cake cutting and bouquet toss.
Highlights: getting the young kids up in front with the band and leading waves to the music, my son (a drummer) sitting in for Play that Funky Music, White Boy to drum for his sister, great attitudes, high energy music, a couple of good slow songs, on time and ready to go, good sound, letting us use the PA for prayer and toasts, and working with my daughter and wife on the playlist and reception timeline. Even the Reception Manager of the Base Club commented how great a band they were to work with.
Bottom line if you want a top notch band that does the best of Motown, classic rock, and R&B that will get the crowd out of their seats and moving to the music, they were the best! I have nothing but the highest praise for their musical talent, energy, positive attitude, and their willingness to make it a legendary night for the new couple, my family, my friends, and my guests.

They did a great job of ramping the energy and volume up as the night went on which led to an amazing dance party. Another Level was absolutely amazing. Perfect! Everyone loved them and they were voted best band out of all the parties. Not only were they awesome performers and had a great setlist, but they were so personable and made the entire party dance. Thanks for touching base.
Another Level was wonderful. Their online playlist only represents about 1/4 of the material that they're familiar with. My guests and I built a playlist of items we would like to hear at the reception and they were more than capable. A friend built a 'break' playlist on his ipod and Kevin Pryor simply plugged it in when they needed a break and their sound system worked seamlessly. The genre was exactly what my reception guests were looking for. The band had dancers of all ages up on the floor. Another Level was extremely accommodating with space restrictions, noise levels, guests who were musicians and wanted to play a few sets with the band, etc. I would gladly book the band again, and recommend them to all of my friends.
Sam Hill Entertainment has also been extremely helpful. The followup and reminders worked great during the crazy wedding planning. The selection process on the website is very easy to navigate, the binder of bands sent to my house with the cd sampler, potential bands and their playlists helped us finalize our decision to select Another Level. I will also recommend Sam Hill Entertainment to all my friends.
