The group did a great job and several attendees mentioned to me today how much they enjoyed the performance. It was cold last night but they soldiered on!

The band CRUSHED IT. A few of our guests were musicians and they came up to us absolutely floored at how phenomenal the band was. Even the folks at Skyline Lodge came up to us to say how excellent the band was. Please pass along a massive thank you to Adrian, Marcus, Derek, Tim and David. They're insanely talented. They played everything we requested, too—even the songs not on their set list. Everyone was up dancing and having the best time.

Andrew,
We absolutely LOVED Adrian. He was terrific to work with, responsive to emails and contacted us upon arrival which is always helpful. We took a gamble on this event, knowing that the crowd was older and may not stay late. We were able to get some terrific photos of a few couples dancing. The sound level was spot on – we always struggle under the tent, but Adrian nailed it. The music was just so good! We really enjoyed having them here, would highly recommend and if we have another opportunity we would definitely hire again!
My best,
MJ

Hello Andy,
I hope you are doing well! Adrian did a wonderful job at cocktail hour for the reception. The variety of music selected was perfect for the event. It added such a nice touch to the event to have the piano playing in the back ground.
Thank you all for doing such a wonderful job and making the event so memorable. I hope you have a wonderful 2022! Thank you,

Mike:
This is Greg—Pam’s husband.
The band was great! Absolutely terrific.
The first dance, fatherdaughter dance, and other “scripted” parts of the reception went off perfectly.
You always wonder if the band will read the room and cover certain songs well. The band did a truly outstanding job on both counts.
I am a weekend guitar player and I am more discerning than most about the quality of a band and their musicianship. They did not disappoint. In a word, the band was “tight.” The rhythm section, vocals, keys, horn player, and my favorite the guitarist, blended really well.
DJs are good, but this was better!!
Thanks,
Greg

Hi Mike,
Thanks for checking! We very much enjoyed the band’s performance. Theresa’s voice blew our residents away and Adrian’s piano skills were superbly impressive. I was sorry for the warm temperatures, even under the tent, but we thoroughly enjoyed their musical soundtrack to our first maskfree party in 15 months!

Thank you so much for reaching out.  Our event on Friday with the Adrian Duke Jazztet was a big success.  Our residents greatly enjoyed the band and their music.  All band members were very professional and followed our COVID19 protocols.  Thank you for coordinating the band for this event.  We will certainly reach out again as our entertainment needs arise.
Hope all is well,

Hey Andy,
Just wanted to sing the praises of Adrian Duke this past Saturday. They were absolutely outstanding. The band was so flexible and accommodating to our changing timeline. I couldn’t say more great things about them! They were the perfect vibe with starting out full on jazz and ramping up to more modern songs. We had quite a few families from Ollie’s come out and ask how to get in contact with them – everyone was complimentary.  I am so excited to have them for our Gatsby Christmas in December!
Thanks as always,

Sam Hill was equally as helpful in these difficult times helping us maneuver through changing bands etc. We felt we ended up with the best option and y’all were very fair.

Hey Andy,
Thanks for reaching out. Everything went splendid with the event and the Adrian Duke Jazztet band was a huge hit. They were actually awesome professional, came on time, set up quickly, and most importantly, sounded great all evening.
We had several of our guests comment about how much they enjoyed them and even some of our engaged couples got their business cards for future weddings. So we had a great experience with them and I told them we would love to book them for future events, including next year's gala once we have a date.

Mike, the band was incredible! They played a variety of music and even got people out on the floor dancing! I had several requests for their cards as everyone was so impressed. The guys were professional and kind, we enjoyed chatting with a bit as well. I will definitely consider using them again in the future. They seemed like a versatile enough band that I could use them when I need more mainstream music as well. I'm so happy I found them through your agency!

Dear Andrew,
Thanks so much for your well wishes. Here are a couple of our reflections on Adrian Duke's Jazztet, who were a tremendous hit at our wedding reception.
We were absolutely thrilled with Adrian Duke and his Jazztet. During the booking process we changed our minds about how many musicians we wanted and Adrian happily agreed to add a saxaphone player less than a month before the actual wedding date.
Adrian in particular was an incredibly mellow and calming person with whom we could discuss the details of the event.
Aileen wants to stress that the band was the pinnacle of professionalism and were totally willing to go with the flow. At one point during the ceremony a guest asked them to play a song that was not on their setlist/songlist and they magically managed to pull off a terrific version of it. They read the room very well and managed to simultaneously be low key and high energy at the same time. Guests from as young as 5 and as old as 81 were drawn to the dancefloor by Adrian's beautiful crooning and the band's terrific saxaphone player (the bassist and drummer were also completely on point). The band seamlessly managed to transition from great jazz to motown to rock to funk.
Let me know if you would want any more feedback. I can happily say that we were thrilled with the band and the help that we also got from your colleagues at Sam Hill Entertainment, who were flexible, attentive with correspondence, and generally fantastic.
All the best,
Max

Hi Andrew,
The band was a huge successeveryone loved them! We particularly enjoyed the female vocalist but we're also impressed with Adrian's Ray Charles voice. The sax player was also a big wow factor. Really, they were all excellent.
Interacting with Adrian and the band members was positive and professional. We invited them all to help themselves to our huge buffet in the house where family and friends could chat with them. They fit right in!
Several neighbors attending our party asked how we found this great band and, of course, I referred them to Sam Hill and will continue to do so in the future. I'll likely contact you to book a band for our July 2016 reunion since it was such a success this year.
Thanks for your help. It's a pleasure working with you and Sam Hill Entertainment!

Hi Andrew,
Adrian Duke’s music was lovely, he’s a fantastic pianist and he blended amazingly well with our event. He was also very easy to work with and well prepared! Thank you so much for setting us up with him, we will definitely keep you all in mind for future events.

The whole weekend was an absolute blast. Highlands was the perfect setting (75 & sunny all 3 days) and The Farm at Old Edwards Inn was amazing to say the very least. The biggest shock of the night was Adrian Duke's voice. He was incredible. I think a couple folks thought his music was recorded at first b/c he sounded so much like Ray Charles...but they caught on pretty fast. You were SO RIGHT about his versatility. He somehow managed to please the 20something crowd as well as my grandparents...and they are 90. Grant and I were so amazed by his range of sound and couldn't get over how he nailed Back of Your Hand by Dwight Yoakam. That was NOT a blues/jazz/soul request so we were amazed that he hit it.
Thanks for the great recommendation and let me know if you have more questions. Cheers!
