I cannot recommend working with Sam Hill Entertainment and The Bellevue Rhythmaires enough! Reviewing samples of their music and the whole booking and planning process was seamless, and the band was just so great and friendly to work with, all of our guests loved them as much as we did! They followed up postwedding just to check in which I thought was so nice. Highly recommend!

Hello Bellevue Rhythmaires!
I am sorry this is so delayed, but post wedding we dove right back into school and things just got away from me.
I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did to make our wedding day the most perfect day ever everyone loved the cocktail music and all of our first dance songs were just so perfect! We are just so happy you could be part of our big day and are just so grateful for you all.
Again, our sincerest gratitude for everything you all did to make this day happen and give us incredible memories that will last a lifetime.
All the best,
Maddie, Witt, and families

Andrew,
Those guys were absolutely outstanding. We couldn't have asked for anything more, everything we asked they made accommodations for. They sounded great and the music they played was tremendous. I will also recommend Sam Hill and The Bellevue Rhythmaires the future to our friends.

Hi Andy,
The band was fantastic and so great to work with, and their versions of our first dance songs were great. My mom and I had a great call with the band leader before the wedding and he understood what we were looking for.
We will definitely recommend Sam Hill and the Bellevue Rhythmaires to our friends and family!
Best,
Maddie

They had a great selection of instrumental music during the meal and also blew the rest of the performance out of the park. I would highly recommend this band to others!

We absolutely loved the Bellevue Rhythmaires, everyone at the wedding loved them. Charles was incredibly easy to work with, responsive and very organized with all communication. The band went above and beyond learning new songs specifically requested for our wedding and we appreciated it greatly.

Thank you!

We loved the Bellevue Rhythmaires. They received many compliments (we had many musicians at the event and also selfproclaimed experts on country and bluegrass music who were impressed.)
They were perfect for our event because their sound was just the right amount. We could eat dinner and talk while the music was playing, which can be a problem with the larger dance bands.
Thanks again for suggesting them.

Good Morning Justin
Thank you for the follow up. My husband and I were VERY happy with The Bellevue Rhythmaires. Charles and his band were wonderful, good people and my guests LOVED them. He delivered everything I wanted for the party and he know exactly when to pull the plug before the storm hit and all the guests helped to get them packed out. Perfect timing!!!! We only lost 30 minutes of music due to the storm.
OUR BEST PARTY EVER and we throw them often.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Andrew,
The wedding weekend was truly magical...wouldn't change a thing! The Bellevue Rhythmaires were a dream to work with: Charles Arthur was pleasant and accommodating from our first conversation. I so appreciated his touching base to check on details as the event approached, and how calm he was as we discussed various scenarios; he offered to help in any way he could.Musically: they ROCKED!!!   They played a fabulous variety, and even allowed my brotherinlaw to join them to sing a little Johnny Cash!  I would pick them again in a heartbeat! Thank you, also, for your guidance.

The Bellevue Rhythmaires were great. I was impressed. WOW. The music they played was definitely my personal musical taste, and this was a Sunday evening wedding and it worked perfectly I thought. They were easy to work with and super agreeable – always makes a wedding day less stressful. (11/1/20)

Justin,
Thanks for reaching out. Finally coming up for air after our wedding.
Feedback on Band The Bellevue Rhythmaires were the perfect band for our wedding. They were totally dialed in at every moment. Started out as more back ground music playing for our dinner. Great music selections. We also had a lot of musicians as guests including myself.  I communicated with Charles beforehand and he was more than happy to have people sit in, sing a song or play guitar. He was extremely gracious and inviting.  Later when there was a lull Charles got on the mic and engaged the crowd. He knew exactly when to bring it up and mellow it out. The last hour of the wedding he brought it up big time and we had a fun dance party on the floor. Musician caliber was excellent and we had a great celebration with Charles leading the charge. The whole band was fun, engaging, good spirited and just a positive force to have around my friends and family. Could not be happier. A huge THANK YOU to The Bellevue Rhythmaires. You guys were amazing.
Sam Hill Feedback With only two and half months to plan the wedding the Sam Hill crew totally helped us out finding a band.  After I narrowed down the search Justin went into action and started calling on bands. When he said The Bellevue Rhythmaires would play at our wedding I was relieved and excited. The whole process was extremely easy.  Justin was efficient, considerate and professional. I highly recommend using Sam Hill.
Thanks Justin.
Sincerely
Brian Nelsen

Hi Andy,

Thank you so much for your postSplendor followup email. Both the Lewis Ginter staff and gala guests who attended the event loved Bellevue Rhythmaires!
They played at the perfect volume (not too loud), which worked really nicely as background music. The band was friendly, kind, and so easy to work with. Most importantly, they were very communicative and quick to respond both by phone and email leading up to the event.
During the event, they were flexible with the weather, as it rained for about 20 mins. They discreetly moved inside the tent to not be exposed to the rain, and then moved back out on the porch when the rain stopped. It was all seamless and not noticeable by guests. They also worked really well with our Auctioneer, and allowed him to use their sound equipment.
Thank you for booking this band for us and helping make our event a success!

Mike,
Hello from Germany! It’s long overdue, but we really wanted to write to say how great Charles and his band were at our wedding! In short, we had an amazing time and it was because of the awesome music and energy they brought to our reception. We are still thinking about it months later after our move overseas! They got everyone on the dance floor (even the kids) and even knew some classic Greek music for our family’s traditional dance! We didn’t want the party to end! We can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to make their special day as memorable as ours was.
Sincerely,
Margaret and Jason

Hi Justin,
Thanks for reaching out; just a short note now, and I'm happy to send a proper followup later. All I can say is that there is amazing, beyond amazing, and then there is the Bellevue Rhythmaries! After watching their online promos and speaking with Charles I already had high expectations going into Saturday, and they managed to blow those away. Charles could not have been more professional and helpful making arrangements, and made the day that much more special with his charisma, professionalism, and enthusiasm. It's not just the band's musicwhich is topnotch in its own rightbut also their ability to work the room and connect with the guests. Annie and I are beyond happy.
I know they already have a glowing reviews online, but I'd be very happy to add a glowing testimonial to add if they ever want a little extra icing on their musical cake.
Cheers,
Andrew

Charles,
I wanted to thank you and your bandmates for a wonderful and very fun wedding experience here in Bohannon on April 14. You guys were awesome, and I was too busy running around to show my true appreciation.
I am sorry the bugs hatched out near the porch and hounded you guys during the reception. I have finally found the bug spray that ended up in the attic during the wedding clean up. I will restock on citronella candles soon!
Our guests really enjoyed being able to make song requests, and the neighbors on the river all enjoyed having a night of listening to Pro's playing. The ceremony music was supersweet, too. Thanks for learning new songs for the lead dances, and I am glad the mother of the bride doesn't have to dance in front of everyone!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hi Justin,
Thanks so much! The band was a total hit and was perfect for the setting. They really knew how to play to the crowd and the covers were a huge hit. They were also incredibly professional and accommodating, despite it being a rainy November day and in an outdoor setting!
Thanks so much! I'll certainly keep y'all in mind for future events!

Hi Andrew,
Everything went great with The Bellevue Rhythmaires. They were a fantastic addition to our reception; we could not have been happier with them. They played some pleasant background music during the meal and were flexible on the timing of their breaks so they kept the party going once dinner was over. They played a great variety of music and the dance floor was packed through the end of the wedding! Their style/vibe was also perfect for the venue a modern bluegrass group fit perfectly with Castle Hill's ambiance!
So many of our guests commented on how great they were. We loved them and they were also a steal! They could up their price and be absolutely worth it.
Sam Hill was also incredibly easy to work with and helped us find the group. Thank you to you and your team for that.
Everyone was raving about the band and we were so happy with them (which is key, because the band was one of our top three musthaves at the wedding)!
Best,
Megan

Hi Charles,
Lauren and I wanted to thank you and The Bellevue Rhythmaires for an awesome wedding! The music was great, and we got a lot of positive feedback from the guests. Thanks for being flexible with the timeline, and for taking short breaks to keep the party moving. I hope you guys got enough food and drinks, were taken care of, and had a safe trip back to Richmond.
I want to thank you for letting me sit in. In hindsight, I'm glad we decided to add the drums to the lineup!! That was a great surprise, and certainly something I will never forget. I don't remember the song you suggested initially, but American Girl was the only song I thought I could (barely) survive. It has been almost a decade since I sat behind a kit and played with a band, so I apologize for the rust, and appreciate you guys getting me through the song. Lauren, friends, and most of my family have never heard me play (or knew that I played at one time), so I appreciate you guys creating that moment.
We hope to see you guys again at another wedding or show.
Many thanks,
John and Lauren

Good Afternoon Justin,
Thank you so much, we had such an amazing day! The Bellevue Rhythmaires were amazing, we got so many compliments for them by our guests. They had originally set up to play inside on the dance floor however it was such a nice day outside that everyone was hanging out outdoors so they picked up their guitars and microphone and moved with the crowd! Then when it got darker and chilled down they moved back inside. The flexibility of doing that made the day seamless and so enjoyable, they played a great range of music for everyone. We would definitely recommend them to others. We've also had such an easy and great experience working with Sam Hill Entertainment, I have already recommended you guys to others but will definitely leave a review on the knot and keep spreading the word.
Thank you so much for everything.

Hi Andrew,

The Bellevue Rhythmaires were amazing and awesome and I have nothing but great things to say about them. The event was held in a barn but because of the beautiful weather on Saturday, after dinner the guests went outside. So, the band just moved some mics and went outside too! It was awesome! Everyone danced in front of the band until the very end of the night. Helen and Drew were extremely happy which in the end is all that matters. J

Thank you so much for reaching out and I hope we can work together again soon!

All the best,

The Bellevue Rhythmaires were really fantastic! They were friendly, easy to work with, and really played some amazing music! We loved that they started by playing acoustically during the cocktail hour then switched to party music when the dancing really got going. And they newly learned two songs for us, for the first dance and father daughter dance, which was very special. Thanks again, we really loved working with them!

We loved the twoman bluegrass band from The Bellevue Rhythmaires and would highly recommend them. We invited them to play for my sisters wedding when I scoured bands in the area online, just a few weeks before the event. We all felt that it added just the right missing ingredient to her midweek wedding. All our family and friends enjoyed the music. The band fit in with our bluegrass, outdoor location perfectly (Lydia Mountain Lodge). The band members were friendly and everybody loved singing and dancing along. They even allowed a few old trio members in the family to go on stage and played beautifully while the ladies sang. The unique thing about this band was that they catered to us and the style of the wedding. The kids loved them especially when they played The Alphabet Song to change things up, seeing that some of their biggest fans were at the foot of the stage.

Hey Justin,
The Bellevue Rhythmaires were fantastic! 100% professional from start to finish, and most importantly... played incredible music all night long! I would highly recommend The Bellevue Rhythmaires to anyone looking for great music to be played at an event. We had an eclectic group of people at our wedding, and the band did an excellent job of playing music that everyone could enjoy. We heard all night from our guest how much they enjoyed the music.
Charles was very accommodating from the start. He was open to every idea we had. During our ceremony, we asked for some nontraditional songs to be played in a traditional wedding sounding way... and he nailed it! The entire day was just an absolute blast, and the band certainly contributed to that. I can't say enough great things about them... they were just an awesome band!
Thanks,

The wedding was a blast. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on the band. The Bellevue Rythmaires were fantastic. We wanted music that people would enjoy whether dancing or not. All ages, from 2 to 70 years old were on the dance floor and those not dancing said they really enjoyed the music. We had bluegrass, beach music, classics, rock something for everyone. It was all so well done. Charles was so easy to work with from the start. We asked if a group of us could play a song with the band, and he even sent a video of him playing so we could prepare. They did such a great job, we hope to have another party some day just so we can hire the Bellevue Rhythmaires again!
Thank you to Sam Hill for connecting us. We've already given your name to several friends.

Dear Charles,
THANK YOU so very much for a great evening on October 18! And thank you for coming so far to preform. Several of our guests this past week have told me it was one of the best parties they have ever been to! You all were amazing being able to play all those requests, too!
Sadly our photos of the evening and most of the family photos taken before the party are either blurred or not framed well. Friends did this for us....AND we got what we paid for.....The only way to correct this is to have another party! Wahoo! My sis in law asked what we would be doing for our 60th Anniversary...but that is way too far away and we are pretty old already. Soooo we are now planning a big bash for our 55th Anniversary in 5 years. Question: Would the Bellevue Rhythmaires come again to New Bern? This next time it would be in a 3,600 sq ft beautiful ball room in our quaint old town (downtown).
Again, thank you for coming so far and for a GREAT night of music!
Blessings,

There were very communiative in finding out our interests in songs and for our wedding.. It really helped filling out the questionnaire and talking to Charles multiple times before our wedding to ensure we are on the same page and had everything we needed. They were very organized and communicated all things efficiently.
The day of our wedding, they were very flexible, supportive, and wonderful. They adjusted to any last minute changes with a smile and ensured they performed songs that got a great response from the audience. The pieces they played during the ceremony were lovely and the songs they played for the first dance was incredible.

These guys are awesome! I have never seen a band get the entire crowd on the dance floor so early in the night and keep them there until the very end, but the Bellevue Rhythmaires pulled it off for our wedding!

Charles and crew expertly tailored their performance to match the feel of our wedding and the dancefriendly show that we were hoping for. Their set list appealed to all age ranges with songs that were fun, energetic and full of character. My wife and I were thrilled and our guests clearly felt the same – we received compliments on the performance all night and long afterward. In the biggest testament to the performance, we’ve been contacted by multiple guests from our wedding looking to book Bellevue for their own events.

On the planning end of things, Charles was a total pleasure to work with. We especially appreciated that he was laid back and responded promptly.

On behalf of my wife, myself, and all our wedding guests, I want to thank the Bellevue Rhythmaires and give them our highest recommendation.
Thanks again! We hope to see you all again sometime soon.

On behalf of myself, my husband Nathan and my entire family, thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful work you and your band members did on June 1st for our wedding. It was truly a fabulous event and people are STILL talking (and will be for a while) about how great of a band you all are. The most frequent comment we got during and after the reception was Whoa. Where did you find the band?! They are the best I've ever heard at a wedding! For this, the wonderful job announcing and keeping us on time, and the adequate prep ahead of time, we truly thank you.
Thanks again! You are definitely a very talented group of musicians! If you have need a recommendation or praise, you'll get very high remarks from us!

My wedding was a fantastic success, part of which was due to the Bellevue Rhythmaires for providing a great atmosphere with their excellent performance. The customer service before the event was exceptional, with immediate responses and willingness to give us exactly what we wanted for our special day. Even with custom song requests just weeks before the event (Vivaldi's Spring for the processional, and Mendelsohn's Wedding March for the recessional), the band sent us sound clips within a week so we could decide which sound we liked best. Finally, the best review of all came from the guests, who upon leaving, EVERY SINGLE ONE said, I LOVED the band! Bravo.
Max B, Fredericksburg, VA

The Bellevue Rhythmaires absolutely rocked our wedding reception! From the start our interaction with them was extremely professional; they were very accommodating of our outdoor wedding location (under a tent on a farm) and even learned a few songs for us. They were extremely tight musically we had some very musically literate folks in the crowd and all were very impressed. We were also pleased that, in addition to the standard bluegrass stuff, they were very good at the classic rock & roll tunes, which kept the dance floor packed until the very end. Our guests are still raving about them. I would 100% recommend the Rythmaires for any event.

The Bellevue Rhythmaires have played for our annual dinner/dances at the Museum for the last four years. They are versatile, highly accomplished musicians who play a very wide variety of music. Whether its bluegrass, rock or country the guys always nail it!
For our functions they play unplugged down amongst the guests for the social hour and plug in when they take the stage for dancing after dinner. The boys interact with the crowd, getting everyone involved. You will not hear, up close and personal, a better group of musicians for whatever function you're having.
I recommended the group to others over the years and all have been beyond satisfied. Bill Powell, Deltaville, VA
