"The Storytellers Band" is an energetic New York City based dance band that packs the dance floors at weddings, corporate events, outdoor festivals and anywhere else a dance party springs up. The band prides itself in authentic performances of all genres of music ranging from contemporary hits of today, to rock anthems of the 80's, all the way back to classic soul of the 60's. "The Storytellers" is a fresh band whose diversity appeals to every age and demographic.
"The Storytellers Band" is made up of ten dynamic musicians and performers.
- 3 dedicated lead singers whose expertise goes beyond the realm of singing to provide and interactive experience.
- Guitarist who singing and playing will bring you back to days when rock was king
- Bassist who plays electric and also specialized in acoustic upright-- adding to the ambiance for jazz cocktail and dinner music.
- Piano/Keys/snyth player who captures all the unique sounds of the original recordings, electronic and acoustic, gives the band an unusually authentic vibe.
- A full horn section of 3 horns consisting of sax, trumpet, and trombone breathe authenticity into classic horn band music while adding a hip twist on contemporary radio hits
