Biography: Slack Family Bluegrass Band
Driving bluegrass, 3-part harmonies, and a wide variety of indigenous influences make this band a popular choice among all ages in Virginia and the surrounding areas. The SLACK FAMILY BLUEGRASS BAND's debut CD release is a blend of traditional, contemporay, and original bluegrass. The self-titled release, redcorded at Richmond's Sound of Music Studios, produced by Joe Wharff, engineered by Mike "Keno" Synder, and mastered at Slipped Disc by Bill McElroy captures the high-energy style bluegerass that The SLACK FAMILY BLUEGRASS BAND present in their live show. The SLACK FAMILY BLUEGRASS BAND employs only two microphones in their live shows reminiscent of the early bluegrass pioneers.
