Welcome to Phive. From Drake and lil’ Wayne to Jay-z and Ludacris, Phive mashes up hits from every era of hip hop with music from inside and outside hip-hop lines. With the best hooks of all time and beats that keep the crowd dancing, Phive has been crushing crowds from day one.
Phive is the Brainchild of Benton James. After years of touring with the live Hip hop group The Urban Sophisticates, it became apparent that hip hop was in demand live but was not being represented in markets at all. Combined with the mash up side of the current underground markets Phive was a hit in the making. DJ Royale, Sebastian, J Rose, and Nick Hayes lead the team of highly trained musicians that make up this band. They look forward to taking this show to new heights: from greek functions to 1,000 capacity clubs, Phive are hitting the road and writing their story. Jay-z, Kanye, and the Notorious BIG would be proud of how Phive represent the tradition of hip hop through their music. Phive are reinventing live hip-hop music.
