Biography: Peter Richardson
PETER RICHARDSON has spent the last eleven years teaching classical, jazz, rock, and folk styles of music while still making time for public appearences. His playing of paid gigs began in 1988 while attending the Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts and continued throughout the early 90's playing with numerous bands. PETER RICHARDSON spent some time in Flagstaff, Arizona playing resturant gigs, recitals, and weddings, before joining the Clarity Jazz Quartet found in the Washington, D.C. area. During 1998 and 1999 he performed at the East Coast Jazz Festival and is currently employed by Black Tie Arts Management of Falls Church, Virginia.
While playing his own music and spending time with several bands, PETER RICHARDSON has also made time to teach his style of music privately out of his own home. PETER RICHARDSON has also spent time teaching in the private class setting at the Preparatory School of Northern Arizona University, Bethesda Music in Maryland, and finally at the Guitar Gallery of Paco de Malaga in Wasington, D.C., while still maintaining a studio of private students.
