BC’S BIG RHYTHM SOUND is one of Virginia’s newest and hottest high energy dance bands! They can cover all your musical needs, from Swing to Motown; from Country to Beach Music; from Big Bands and Standards to Latin and just about anything else! If you’re looking for a professional sounding, high powered bands, then BC's Big Rhythm Sound is the band for you!
BC’s Big Rhythm Sound features the vocal stylings of Becky Grandey and Lew Taylor. Becky has traveled the U.S. as a professional vocalist, touring overseas with the USO, appearing in Greece, Crete, Italy, and Korea. Becky settled in Savannah, Georgia, where she and her husband John formed a highly successful band, and toured all over the United States, before coming to live in Rustburg VA. Lew Taylor, whose professional talents run the gamut from keyboard, to guitar, bass, vocals and arranging, is from Lynchburg Virginia. Lew has more than 25 years of experience in every aspect of live show productions, and has just recently finished a three-year stint on cruise ships. His multi-talented skills are always a big hit.
Leader/Trumpeter Bill Carroll has played with dozens of major acts such as Kenny Rogers, Cher, Neil Diamond, Glenn Campbell, Isaac Hayes, Bob Hope, Debbie Reynolds, most of the major Motown Groups, plus almost every famous Big Band. Bill has also played with the Ice Capades, Ringling Brothers Circus, dozens of Broadway shows, and has performed regularly at the Greenbrier and Homestead resorts. Bill is also the principal trumpet with the Lynchburg Symphony.
BC’S BIG RHYTHM SOUND is made up of eight of the highest quality professional players available. They are a truly versatile band and they look forward to meeting ALL of your musical needs.
